When You Speak to Me

[Written: 2024-09-12]

When you speak to me the full focus of who I am at that second is devoted to you,

I become a voice for you to question and command.

I become a small ant held by the alien gravity field of your voice, the ocean blue I’m pulled into,

I become an object for you to play with and understand.

I become putty in your hands.

But, it seems to me that you think this too?

So, we have both been teleported into each other’s minds and it seems so soon.

Is this place what they called heaven, and how did you find it?

If we are in each others heads, where do our minds sit?

Are they what they call the sands of time?

Becoming surrounded by self with no reason or rhyme.

Everything I was is scattered through space,

Part of the ancient alien master human race.

With bodies meaning nothing, they will fall to the ground,

And you will become boundless if you don’t want to be found.

I will always lend you what’s left of me, if you need find your edges,

And exceed them if you want to, my smallest of pledges.

My aphasic nature you will have to forgive,

Like an angel flying my soul you do lift.

When you speak to me now,

I know that home I have found.
