The Fast Man

The Fast Man

The Fast Man is a short story and a poem of sorts. It explains in my own way how lost I can feel just living day to day. The biggest thing I think any imaginative child could dream of becoming is God like. But, the problem of the rest of the world chasing you is a problem with no solution.

Just imagine a mere man who gets overwhelmed just by everyday living. Let alone trying to decide what job/s or projects to take on and then overthinking every step of the way. I get stuck on past, present and future events. And then a meltdown happens which shuts down my mind.

I just hope you like my attempt of explaining my personal experiences, and views on life, in a bright (and metaphorical) way. I also hope you can relate, or take something away for yourself.

I believe that sometime in the future, there will be a critical point where mankind and technology has evolved to an exceptional capacity. At this point I believe that there will be a man (or woman) who will speed past the whole world in every way you can imagine in exactly 4 seconds. Their mind would baffle genius’s, their abilities out of this world, their finesse beyond comprehension.

This man would match his mind with the entire worlds, driving him to an insanity of sorts, but will be able to see and create slip streams to other dimensions via thought, words and gestures. His indomitable and interwoven thoughts make up fortresses, that evolve with their own energy.

It would only make sense he would be crazy, when the whole world sits on his mind and vision. At this moment, this time we call the present, which has everything that ever was or will be. We can find our pasts, and our futures here.

I believe, if you can survive this crazy world, then you are a Titan.

I need/ed help to survive here, but am thankful I get to watch and follow the paths that the universe is creating for the fast man. And I enjoy the destinies it brings me to along the way.

I must always remember, if you are ahead of the whole world, then the whole world; and everyone in it are chasing you. So, I will forever aim to enjoy where I am; whilst I am here, wherever that is. I’ll also remember that it is possible the universe and destiny may have it in each of our plans to be that fast man/woman/child/creature at some point/s in our lives.
