Mentality Zeroed

Mentality Zeroed

[Written: 2025-01-15]

It’s mental, how mental, normal people feel, when mental people, act mental.

-Explanation: In this short sentence, I am trying to convey several things. Starting with how much we read into possibly small things, such as words or ideas. At first glance it may seem like the writer (myself) is attempting to nullify the “normal people” by saying that if they are so sturdy within themselves and their minds, why should the behaviour of others (I mean particularly in words) offend or cause the “stable one(s)” to react or take action.

Another way people may read it is that I, the writer, am demonstrating the need for action to be taken by the “normal person/people” when a “mental person” is acting off or in a rut that needs to be rectified (either the rut, but particularly the persons way of thinking who is in it).

I am also creating new conclusions (or at least finding the words to express what my intentions were when writing it) to what I had written after it was written.

I like to think of the diagnosis and lead up (and thereafter) to a mental health condition as a sort of mental health grenade, that is not only affecting to one with the diagnosis, but everyone in close proximity, during, before, and afterwards. The closer the person, the more affected.

What I mean by this, is that both parties are as vulnerable to the effects it has, be it the diagnosed party or the family member, partner, friend, NHS professional, or member of general public.

Our words can leave impacts, mine often no obvious reason of why I used them particularly, so I am trying to explain.
