The moment I saw you I was complete;
All aspirations I had dissolved within that first week.
Everything I was became putty in your hands;
Whatever I would be would be yours to demand.
If I was a dream, I’d hang around the corners of your mind;
If I was late I’d be late on the watch of your time.
And if you asked me to chase all your monsters away;
I would fight them immediately with no delay.
If you needed the silence I’d have nothing to say;
And if you feel like I’m failing, I’d do so in the best way.
Because the moment I see you is that moment again today;
You redefine success for me and whatever the cost I’ll pay.
As I have seen angels art for you in a heaven stay;
And whenever you call I will run to you if I may.
