I Call Now

I Call Now

2024-11-23

I call now to see where you are at,

But, when you hear my call, your reply is flat.

A studious answer is responded,

Nothing new for my mind to bond with.

Your answer thought through before we have begun,

Now, a robot is what we have become.

Our words pushing our minds to where we want the other one,

Where can anything original ever now come from.

I call now to find the unique,

To see if my design is meant to be.

Tell me what do you see?

It looks like boundaries for everything to me.

I feel like drift wood, going out to sea,

Your earth has abandoned me.

I call you now as my last resort,

To restore the earth around my roots I sought,

And don’t end up fish food on the ocean floor.

My heart feels this, Adam. Your words pull at my heart strings. It’s honest and raw poetry. A poet you are .. honest and true and whose words emote beautifully..
