How Bad Will it Get

How Bad Will it Get

It began at the beginning of time, middle or end,

A being so powerful it could summon itself.

In and out of existence, it could escape or create hell.

We didn’t know what it was, but we could feel it did dwell,

A mind so powerful it was as dense as a black star,

It was one and many if you look at it from near or a far.

No matter could stop it, an exploding heart,

No matter it’s infinite gifts, we wanted more, a new start.

It could not escape the noise of our race,

And we destroyed it from within, and left its body in outer space.

So, goes the ancient alien human race,

We did not realise how far it had carried us, so we hoped and we prayed.

That it would rise again from where it lay in it’s grave,

To teach us the lessons it had taught us again.

A little known secret, healing others also helps us heal from within,

And vice a versa, I thought I heard it thinking.

When I leant in to hear, in a whisper it started to sing,

It just might be you that has been carrying this,

An unfathomably beautiful and powerful gift.

That’s not too far from the infinite,

I need you to know, so now think quick.

Did you know a human is more powerful than all of this,

I feel it in knowing like loves gentle kiss.
