To lay my weary head in.

I thank you for you kindness,

I thank you for your welcome.

You taught me how to surpass myself,

You taught me how to surpass you too.

You made it seem so easy,

Now, I feel a fool.

Because I know how hard it was,

Giving me your energy too.

I couldn’t see what you could see,

I didn’t have a clue.

Now, I sit in disbelief,

As my voice resonated out of tune.

Even though you are farther now,

I see what you saw too.

So, I can only offer what you gave,

And use my words to say.

Come hither and laze with me,

And enjoy our planet journey through space.
