As I stare death in the face,
I knew I had seen her before.
If you have seen it once,
You have seen it all.
She must be a woman,
Who could devastate us all.
And pick up the pieces,
Of all our hearts before too far we fall.
So we don’t burn in the sun of a god,
We walk in her shadow where it is cool.
As I walk through the valley of the shadow off her,
The wisest thing I can say is I have been reborn a fool.
Every word I have said or say,
Are now just her smallest of tool.
She may play with my heart and soul,
It’s what’s needed for me to move on.
I don’t know if I love her more or less,
I just know my choice might be gone.
