[A Voice Inside – Written: 2025-01-10]

A voice inside, or maybe a feeling, told me that I have been born again today. And I have been granted the highest rank and honours in existence: citizenship.

The same goes for almost the rest of the world.

I will not have to fight war, design weapons or spaceships, perform in front of the world, cure cancer, bring peace to the world, discover anomalies in space or invent time travel, nor rearrange space and matter with the power of my mind.

There are police to fight crime; armies to wage wars and protect our countries; hospitals to cure ailments; schools to educate. There is even cinema and theatre, night clubs and pubs, hot tubs and swimming pools, as well as a plethora of technologies for entertainment.

The only catch is, I need to live my life and be happy.

Why is this so difficult?
